A massive thank you to all who travelled to the Southern Championship at Paignton today

To Leland and Matilda who competed in their first completions, they can be very proud of their efforts and their non stop energy all day! Both looked very smart in their new pink t shirts.

To James who performed his pattern very well in an ridiculously high standard of 2nd Dan above section
To Nadine who unfortunately came fourth in patterns after what I can remember being her best competition pattern I have seen. Then making her tournament debut in sparring and not taken a backward step, a very fiery competitor!
To Tom who collected bronze in Sparring, coming up against a cunning fast opponent in the semi final but great achievememt.
To Lowenna who after easing through to the final, just coming second and collecting a silver medal after a closely fought match, a terrific performance. Then teamed up with Nadine in a tightly fought defeat in Tag team sparring.
To John who came against a taller oppentant who used his reach advantage to excellent use, but John had incredible successful in patterns and won Gold with 2 impressive patterns, many congratulations John.
We are so proud of everyone who represented Launceston, you were all awesome.

Also thank you to Helen N, Beccy, James's, Chloe, Kirsty, Jamie (with his poorly knee) Millie and Helen W for supporting our warriors today, it was really appreciated.
